VIDEO! Getting in Bed with Kristin #6: Coming Out (to yourself)

Hello hello hello!

‘Tis Monday which means it is time to share with you last week’s Getting In Bed with Kristin, where we talked about the very fun, never-stressful process of coming out to yourself! We dug into the “how you knows,” and I talked a lot about my own journey (that is still going on, truthfully) in understanding my sexuality. Plus, Jenny came by and told us that she fantasized about saving girls in her 1st grade class on horseback. So, something for everyone!

This Thursday we will be talking about the other piece of this puzzle: Coming Out (to others) at 3pm PST. Huzzah.

  1. I haven’t commented on these before because I always watch them days and days late, but I just wanted to say that A) I always really enjoy them, B) I really appreciate having them here ready to watch whenever I get round to it and C) you are a ridiculously nice, warm, calming person to get to spend an hour a week with, so thank you for doing these.

  2. This gave me many feels, but in a good way!! Thanks!!

Jenny’s story has reminded me that at about 7/8 years old I used to play games in which I rescued imaginary girl orphans on horseback from evil workhouses and they came to live in an imaginary stables with me….maybe that should have been a clue?! (It’s also a clue that I read Wolves of Willoughby Chase and Saddle Club a lot as a kid)

I love the faces Jenny pulls in the background :)

  3. Aw, all the people writing about having a hard time coming out to themselves as bi, wishing they were just gay. :( But I’m glad they’re talking about it.

  4. This had so many OH moments and it’s one I’ll come back to for reassurance in the future.
