  1. 20 min is plenty of time to check out the scissoring artifacts and still have time to power stance before your interview!

  2. Throw the sphinx a peace sign, and then RUN TO THE DIRECTOR’S OFFICE. We’ll have plenty of time to browse the collection once we’re ruling working in this crazy place!

    ps sorry bobbi

pps I’m with Luna on the coffee thing though

  3. Love that Mary Oliver line! Also love the playlist. Lunch is very important. I’m all in favor of more food-related Autostraddle playlists!

  4. U guize did you name Luna after the otter? The BABY ORPHAN otter, formerly Pup 681, currently adopted and learning to otter at Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium?

    • Now I am picturing you in the GM’s office and your boss at your desk asking your co-workers, ‘Where in the world is….’

      Worth.It.

  5. That Mary Oliver quote was up on my wall before I even knew I was gay. It’s definitely one of my favorites.
Also, I vote we go to the director’s office. We can check out the scissoring artifacts when we’ve got the job!

    • It was the prompt for my college application essay where I ended up going for undergrad. It will always have a special place in my heart.

  6. I’m 50/50 between Laura/Luna this week, as I really can’t find anything redeeming about that herbal infusion situation.

However, I fully support the right to gossip therefore my ideal outcome for this week’s L & L would be Lana: The Coffee-Swilling Gossipy Bitch.

  7. Director’s Office! Also I feel like an idiot, but I don’t get how the first answer meant scissors?? Someone explain pleeeease???
