I’m 26 and work in non-profit social services. I’m happily married to my wife and we have two children (both from her previous marriage). My life is pretty simple and completely filled with love and support. There isn’t a lot of gay exposure in the ‘middle of nowhere’ Midwest. I’ve learned all I know about the LGBT community from researching and looking up stuff online since I was about 12 years old. I love Autostraddle and the connections it provides me outside the corn field I live in.
