We know you’ve been perched precariously on the edge of your bicycle seat for what feels like months now, antsy with anticipation for the December 8th premiere of “The L Word: Generation Q,” which’ll bring back favorites from the original series and introduce a whole new cast of shiny, happy queers. We have too. If you’d like to witness our anxious attachment to this franchise in the flesh, then boi are you in luck because GUESS WHAT? We’re hosting a LIVE EVENT in LOS ANGELES and we’d love to see you there.
On December 4th, SHOWTIME x Autostraddle are inviting you to join Riese Bernard and Carly Usdin for a live recording of a very special episode of their hit L Word recap podcast, “To L and Back.” Hosted at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the event includes a guest line-up you won’t wanna miss; Generation Q stars Jacqueline Toboni (Finley), Leo Sheng (Micah), Arienne Mandi (Dani) and Rosanny Zayas (Sophie). We know the event is gonna fill up fast so we’ve reserved a block of tickets JUST for A+ members.

You’ll also enjoy an open bar of custom Gen Q cocktails before and after and some hors d’oeuvres after, with plenty of time to mingle and pose for memorable pics with all your gay friends.

YOU HEARD ME
Signed up! Now you know where to find Carmen SanDiego on December 4
San Diego will be in Las Angeles???
Imagine the traffic! Southern California will be a complete standstill
I mean, I’ve been there, and this seems to describe my experience pretty well
I was gonna yell at you as soon as I saw this headline but of course you’re on it already 👍
Ah, shucks. I have a DnD game night on the fifth!
With some more advance notice, I could’ve swung by!
Is it a high-fantasy version of the L Word? Using the Lust n Lesbians Role Playing Game System?
Nope, that’d be my real life.
For DnD I’m a cleric halfling, make of that what you will.
I’m totally in the dark
Also, again, depiction of me in real life.🤷🏼♀️
The event is on the 4th!
COME TO OUR EVENT @amidola!!!!!!!!!! AS CARLY MENTIONED IT’S ON THE 4TH
Yeah, but I‘d be flying in from Europe, which is not *such* a problem since I‘m in the US for Christmas anyway, but suddenly dropping out of life for four weeks instead of two does need a little bit more premeditation.
See, I knew I should have come for Thanksgiving instead, this year! Then I‘d simply drop by L.A. on my way back!
Also, I could’ve marathoned The L Word on the plane in preparation.
Free snacks and soda brought to your seat, by pretty Ladies in heels and short skirts, while trying to figure out the whole why of the Jenny/Tim situation, what more could a simple human want?
This is the most awesome flight that never was.
*sob* if only I didn’t live in the top half of CA 😭 any SF/Bay Area/NorCal to L & Back events in the future?? 💕
