I think this might be bugged! There’s a blank square to the right of 24-A which I can’t seem to click on, but needs to be filled in to complete the grid?
Also, I was a bit stumped by 29-A because I’ve never heard of that being in a hot toddy before!! Maybe it’s a US thing, because my Canadian wife also looked bemused about it.
I’m Canadian and my family put it in our hot toddies, could be regional.

this was fun! i had the wrong phrase for 8D at first which threw off a few other answers but so it goes!
