I love these crosswords so much. I always thought I wasn’t very good at crosswords, but it turns out all the crosswords from other publications just weren’t gay enough for me, one might even say a traditional crossword is homophobic?

Can someone explain what the “Excerpt Answers” refer to? I see always see these punchlines or hints but I don’t know what they connect to. I thought it was the circled letters in the crossword but this one doesn’t have those!
The excerpt is the little blurb you see underneath the featured image and title, before clicking to view the whole article (or puzzle). If you go back out to the main page you can see the excerpt for this crossword is “How do you make holy water?” The excerpts don’t usually relate to the puzzles and are just for fun. :)
