And now it’s time for our weekly Javicia Leslie check-in! This week she’s beatin’ up Bob!

Ryan Murphy chatted with Deadline about bringing The Prom from Broadway to Netflix.

Niecy Nash has joined ABC’s limited series, The Women of the Movement. (Welcome to your first Pop Culture Fix, Niecy!)

Laura Zak’s new short film, Proof of Loss, got a shout out in People.

How Lena Waithe says being a Black queer woman has helped her in Hollywood.

Janelle Monáe covers Out magazine this month.

The CW is giving Jane Austen the modern-day anthology series treatment. 😬
