Listen I don’t mean to sound like a bad feminist but Bette Porter you have been MEAT-TAGGED and the ladies are lining up around the block to sign your dance card after this gripping classical guitar concert! Cobie Smulders, however, is NOT in line, although she does look great in that vest and she makes some pretty cool mobiles. Also, Veronica Bloom’s gonna peel her face off her face, Venice Beach hosts Shell Art with Tina and a Brawl with Shane, Jenny educates her writing class on the joys of orgasming with another woman, Helena battles her ex (Winnie. Winnie Mann) for custody, Jenny and Carmen continue to awkwardly date and Mark, I regret to inform you, CONTINUES TO EXIST. This week’s episode is just me and Carly, sitting at a table, but we did do a LOT of weird voices.
Episode Index:
+ Ernest R Dickinson
+ I think this is why I think about Carly every time I think about Cobie Smulders
+ Rick Moody’s Demonology
+ Okay so Sharon Isbin is a huge deal human, considered one of the greatest classical guitarists of all time. When Karen was at Julliard she saw her perform BUT ALSO says that it is improbable that she’d ever perform at a queer club in West Hollywood.
+ For the LOVE OF G-D, do NOT slap somebody in the face without asking for consent first. If you have consent: here’s how to do it properly.
Carly is gonna kill me with her zingers at some point. Amazing episode, as always :)
THANK YOU, o wonderful listener with an excellent sense of humor!

Riese I do not remember watching at least half of the shows in that TV review wow
Did you ever change your mind about Parks & Rec?
absolutely yes. I still don’t love the 1st season but it turned things around and became one of my all-time favorite comedy series after that!
Re: Carmen’s “gay boys in bondage” shirt, it reminded me that there’s a 1978 song titled Gay Boys in Bondage by a UK band called the Drug Addix but that seems like an extremely deep cut
