Good morning, fireflies! I know it’s been an incredibly long, hard week for everyone, but here’s a little joy for you: Milo turned one year-old this week! He celebrated with all of his friends in the park (not pictured because they play chase so hard they’re pretty much just a blur), AND with a matching button-up photoshoot with yours truly:

I am feeling oddly proud that my favourite treat cheese topped the list! Particularly coz it’s made less than 100km from where I live. My favourite way of eating Meredith goats cheese is on half a cube smeared on toasted sourdough, topped with scrambled eggs and drizzled with some of the oil in the jar. This makes it more economical 😂

Obviously the answer is a very casual polycule with a house share and Thor is just there sometimes, eating cheese and spoiling the cat.

The version of Thor that lives in my brain is absolutely the Kindly Hungry Himbo, and is mostly inspired by Thor: The Mighty Avenger (2010-2011) by Langridge and Samnee. Not only does the art spark joy, but it’s just a good sweet story even if there’s no Valkyrie :(
