It’s Sunday Funday! On Sunday we lay our worries to rest and focus on happy things. So, if you haven’t already, check out our White House Correspondents Dinner round-up here, cool off with some wet girls, and pick your fantasy Moms!

+ In India, gay couples “marry” with parents’ approval (@ The Times of India): “These warm, happy stories may sound unbelievable given the stream of stories of social hostility against gay people, but the fact is that same-sex marriage ceremonies have been performed in Indian households, rich and poor, and in cities and small towns alike.”

+ Because I must scope the market like Sherlock, I picked up DIVA magazine yesterday. Hello UK! Perhaps I’m the last to this party, but Rachel Shelley randomly has a sex column?:

“Across the board laughter became the best coping mechanism for sex scenes on The L Word. Leisha Hailey (Alice) and Rose Rollins (Tasha) were renowned for their uncontrollable hysterics during sex scenes. The pair of them would be half naked, literally crying with laughter, the crew standing around eating bacon butties, taking phone calls, waiting for them to recover some semblance of calm .. their laughter only added to the on-screen chemistry the two characters always radiated.”

I would’ve loved to be a sexy fly on the wall for that scene …. Shelley also dishes about shooting the legendary Helena-Dylan sex scene of Season Three — with a bat in the room. Speaking of Alexandra Heddison, Natalie is in love with her seriously.

+ GLAAD Awards San Francisco! At last!

+ Adam Lambert is on the cover of Entertainment Weekly: “There was a time not too many seasons ago when, with his mop of glam-rock cobalt-blue-on-dyed-black hair, his earring, his sneering, and his unambiguously ambiguous sexuality, Adam would have been brushed off early on …”

+ Hungary to allow domestic partnerships for same-sex couples (@ The Boston Herald/AP)

+ Justin Timberlake & Andy Samberg on SNL last night singing Motherlover, a sequel to “Dick in a Box” which I didn’t think was funny even though everyone else did. This one I like though:

+ The Advocate’‘s latest issue features 40 Under 40. Obvs life goal = Team Autostraddle for 40 Under 40 2010! This year’s list includes: cartoonist Ariel Schrag, writer Rebecca Walker, television & radio host Rachel Maddow, executive Betty Young, musician Sia,  Chef Jamie Lauren, fund-raiser Aisha C. Mills,  Internet activist Amy Balliett and transgender advocate/Real World cast member Katelynn Cusanelli.

+ Tori Amos discusses the inspiration for and meaning behind her new album, Abnormally Attracted to Sin (@ American Songwriter): ”’So why have we defined erotica as something that has to be demeaning? Why can’t erotica be in bed with spirituality?’”

+ In his weekly radio address, Maine Gov. Baldacci defends signing the gay rights bill (@ Bangor Daily News/AP) – Quote from the article: “Gov. John Baldacci says the past week will be remembered for action Maine took ‘to break down inequality.’”

+ The first same-sex couple to be wed in Massachusetts prepares to celebrate their five year wedding anniversary! (@ The Boston Herald/AP)

+ Megan Fox – is still smokin’ hot. Furthermore, is bisexual (I have some issues with what she says here but I will not dwell ’cause it’s Sunday Funday):

“I have no question in my mind about being bisexual. But I am also a hypocrite: I would never date a girl who wants to be bisexual, because that means they also sleep with men, and men are so dirty that I’d never want to sleep with a girl who had slept with a man.”
