3. The Real L Word Season 2

Showtime, Sunday June 5 at 10 p.m.

This hymenbreaking television disaster experiment premiered Sunday night, full of naked girls and existential angst and strange analogies.

4. The Glee Project

Oxygen, Sunday June 12 at 9 p.m.

The Glee Project is a brilliant f-cking idea and whomever had it is going to make a lot of money. Basically it’s Glee-meets-American-Idol, with Ryan Murphy and Darren Criss critiquing contestants aiming for a multi-episode guest starring role in Season Three of Glee. I hope a girl wins so she can be a lesbian.

Says Entertainment Weekly:  “Joyful and insidery, the competition wholeheartedly embraces the freaks and geeks who made GLEE a phenom to begin with.”

5. Degrassi : The Next Generation

July 18th, TeenNick

Degrassi Season 10 gifted us one out transguy — Adam — and one out lesbian — Fiona. So even though this show is probably targeted at 12-year-olds, it’s really queer and hard to resist.

However, this video suggests that they’re bringing a gun into Season 11 and I hate gun storylines, look what happened to Jimmy in the Wheelchair! And then J.D. got stabbed, I can’t even.
