Carmen’s Team Pick:
Haim and Stevie Nicks recently spent some time kicking it together in Los Angeles, which sounds like an average, every day celebrity happening to the world but sounds to me like something I’ve been waiting for my entire life. Or at least the past two years.
The four came together for a piece in T, the New York Times magazine, in which they interviewed each other and shot the shit about living their dreams and trying to make it. Nicks imbued the three sisters that populate most of your waking dreams with a sense of inevitable stardom, which is good news for all of us who want them to stick around. And then, in what I can only imagine was a moment filled with both magic and sheer legendary spirit, they sang “Rhiannon” together gathered around Nicks’ piano.
Later on, Nicks dubbed the Haim trio her “sisters of the moon,” gifting them with matching moon pendants hanging on gold chains. I can’t make this shit up.
