Reine #31: Burrito Run

A seven panel comic says "Burrito Run" and then one friend asks the other if they want to go get a burrito. The second friend responds, "I can't. Working." The first friend asks, "Have you eaten today?" The answer is "No." Both drawn characters are colored in pastel tones. The first friend asks, "Why are you earning money if you don't spend I eating food with friends?" "Uh.. to pay rent?" The first friend smiles, "You can' pay rent if you're dead. Let's eat." But the second friend is worried about missing their deadline.

Ok, the first friend is ready to answer these worries! This job does not pay health insurance, it does no pay student loans, even though their friend spends every hour of daylight doing this job. In conclusion, "Listen, they need you more than you need his job. If something happens, we'll take care of each other. Prioritize your health and happiness!" And after that, both friends go to get burritos!

  1. Ooh I love this one! Artistically I especially love the ‘spin’ panel where they say you can’t pay rent if you’re dead. It’s so still (everything around the chair) yet dynamic!
