    • Ashley Herring Blake writes great books for young people and I’m sure her adult debut will be the same. I’m very excited to read it!

    • Ask and you shall receive!
      The books are:

Delilah Green Doesn’t Care by Ashley Herring Blake
She Drives Me Crazy by Kelly Quindlen
Femme Like Her by Fiona Zedde
      Masquerade by Anne Shade
Hani and Ishu’s Guide to Fake Dating by Adiba Jaigirdar
How to Find a Princess by Alyssa Cole
      Thorn by Anna Burke
The Perks of Loving a Wallflower by Erica Ridley

      • How to find a princess is *chef kiss* but also am really excited about the result I got! It’s YA which I haven’t read in years but looks adorbs

  1. are the pussy chocolates Supposed to be an option twice?
I got “How to Find a Princess” which sounds fun

  2. I love these! Thank you Casey.

I got Hani and Ishu’s Guide to Fake Dating by Adiba Jaigirdar – it’s been on my radar and sounds super cute.

Also, I just read D’Vaughn and Kris plan a Wedding by Chencia C Higgins and it is super cute! The FF fake fiancΓ©es to win a reality TV show, ridiculously over the top fluffy romance I didn’t know I needed. And the main couple have so much Niecy Nash / Jessica Betts energy.

  3. the universe really wants me to read delilah greene! a publisher giveaway, my library newsletter, and now quiz results have all said to read it!

also thank you for the list of options! i’ve read fully half of them, love that for me

  4. This was fun! Question for Casey (or other readers): do you have any recs for romances featuring butch characters? I’m only recently getting into reading romance so not really familiar with what’s out there or where to look. Thanks!

    • Here are few butch/femme pairings to get you started

D’Vaughn and Kris plan a Wedding by Chencia C Higgins

      Treasure by Rebekah Weatherspoon

The Butch and the Beautiful by Kris Ripper

Patience and Sarah by Isabel Miller

    • Here’s my two-cents’ :

Get it Right by Skye Kilaen
Looking for Trouble by Jess Lea

And I haven’t read it yet, but the title is promising ;-) : Butch Like Her by Fiona Zedde

    • All excellent suggestions so far! I think this might be a good question for a future lesbarian column actually! For now I’d also add:
Get It Right by Skye Kilean
Once Ghosted, Twice Shy by Alyssa Cole
The Care and Feeding of Waspish Widows by Olivia Waite
Eight Kinky Nights by Xan West

    • A couple more recs featuring butch/femme pairings!
      – Matzo Match by Roz Alexander (completely darling romance novella)
      – Spindrift by Anna Burke (same author as Thorn, which was on this quiz, and whose book Compass Rose is one of my all-time faves!)

    • Roller Girl by Vanessa North features a butch woman (paired with a trans woman) in a super cute sports romance!

  5. ‘Having to share a bed before you and your crush have admitted your feelings for one another and then lying there feeling the mounting sexual tension’ oh this option TOOK me places

I got The Perks of Loving a Wallflower by Erica Ridley! I’ve actually never consumed a piece of regency media in my life. Seems like a good enough start!

  6. Delilah Green Doesn’t Care !

Great recommendation. Also grateful for the full list, I’ve read a few but not all (rubs hands with glee)

  7. Here I was literally pining away for a good wlw historical mystery thriller with costuming hijinks, AND YOU DELIVER!!! Seriously, I love regency rom com adventure tropes and now you give me one that has LESBIANS AND ALL MY FAVORITE TROPES. You are magic, and I love this website. Who needs to pay for psychics when autostraddle reads my mind like this?
