Quiz: What’s Your Pride Vibe?

It’s Pride — ever heard of it? Perhaps you’d like to browse Autostraddle’s ongoing Pride package this year, called RAGE PARTY, because it’s about the multitudes contained by Pride, a nexus of immense joy and immense anger, of recreation and resistance. But today? Today, we’re having just silly, goofy fun with one of my famously “upsetting” quizzes in which I ask you a series of chaotic questions and then probably drag some aspect of your personality.

  1. I got “you’re going home early” (“the line is too long, you’re hungry”) and was offended because I’m only leaving early so I can host a Pride party at my house! And then I remembered I’m doing that to avoid the long lines and getting cranky when I get hungry.

  2. Making sure the whole crew is hydrated! Uncannily good haha, my friends can attest that I am constantly putting water bottles in to their hands before they even ask.

  3. “You’re just following your gf/bf/partner/spouse/bestie wherever they go.”

On the one hand I do tend to prefer to stick around with whoever I already know rather than mingle with new people, but I swear I can make a decision if need be (or I don’t like the decisions everyone else is making >>) and the description of “aloof top” has me going ???

  4. Loved the wine into water answer!!

Apparently I’m staying at home and watching experimental queer cinema. Looks pretty similar to my actual plans of staying at home and reading experimental queer novels.

  5. Going home early! Yes but only because I was volunteering so I’ve been there since 8am!

Also, a key straight person Pride celebration – offering to cover your Saturday shift so you can go to the parade
