  1. The Half Of It is one of my favorite movies ever. From watching the movie and reading her various interviews and writings, it is clear Alice Wu is a genius. I hope she gets all the money and support she needs to make movies for as long as she wants.

  2. WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE FINAL SEASON OF SHE-RA

i would like to speak to a manager

  3. As a total baby dyke who wasn’t even born until after Xena stopped airing new episodes (yeah, I know), can I just say how happy I am that the fandom around this show kept it relevant enough for a snobby, digital-age baby like me to take a chance on it?

I’m still on my first journey with Xena: Warrior Princess and almost from the first episode it had me asking, what subtext? This show is G-A-Y.

I love how many times they go out of their way to split-hairs with the heteronormative censures of the network. Xena and Gabrielle all the way!

    • I can’t tell you how happy that comment made me.
Come for the subtext, stay for the battle scenes using fish and various household items.

  4. If the author of the Xena article reads this: Me.
I used to watch that show and literally thought,“ Two girls can just be really close friends and like each other a lot and not be lesbians!“
I stayed up all night to watch the 2am rerun of „The Quest“ for unrelated reasons.

  5. Oh great. I was ready to unsubscribe from HBO now that Westworld Season 3 is over, but I guess have to wait it out another month for Adventure Time!

  6. I don’t know where else to go with this. I just saw the last season of She-Ra and I feel, reborn or something. It was awesome in the real sense of the word.
