+ I think there is a show in the UK called Love Island and I think two women (names: Katie and Sophie) hooked up on that island for the first time in history this week and I think it’s potentially more controversial than the Brexit. I believe they had a fling, and then a “recoupling” and then a breakup over the course of only three episodes. “One night was TOO MUCH for Katie!”

+ True Blood is going to be a musical. Probably it will be the gayest thing in the history of Broadway, which, as you know, is saying something.

+ Gemma Whelan, who plays Yara Greyjoy on Game of Thrones, wants Daenerys and the queen of the Iron Islands to be together just as much as you do.

“I didn’t expect to meet Daenerys, blimey,” Gemma told Digital Spy. “I knew my story was going to get more traction in later series, but I didn’t quite know I’d be surrounded by dragons in season six … I think she and Daenerys should sail off into the sunset with the Seven Kingdoms holding hands. I think that’s probably about right. Tyrion can stay there, Theon’s got to be there – he can be my hand!”

+ Nielsen says it’s cracked the code on Netflix ratings and that 6.7 million people watch Orange Is the New Black. That’s a lot! (For perspective: Pretty Little Liars averages about 3 million viewers per episode; Grey’s Anatomy averages about 7.5 million.)

Movies

Look here now, look! Clea DuVall has reunited the cast of But I’m a Cheerleader for her new movie, Intervention. She also directed it, okay, and chose Tegan and Sara for the trailer. It premiered at Outfest this weekend.

+ Samira Wiley and Danielle Brooks made some orange and black mac and cheese for Buzzfeed and were even more adorable than you’re imagining while they were doing it.

+ Elle is redesigning and to celebrate redesigning they’re releasing four covers this month. Three of them feature Kristen Stewart, Hari Nef and Amandla Stenberg!
