At least once a week for the last four years or so, I’ve thrown on my backpack and hiked a mile and a half to Target, a distance where asking a friend for a ride seems like a waste and a bus is more trouble than it’s worth. It’s not a bad walk, to be honest, especially since at this point, I know exactly what kind of music to listen to: You have to start out strong with something you can really jam to, but eventually it’s best to switch to walking-down-the-street-in-your-own-happy-music-video music. That being said I am super open to suggestions re: your best walking to the store jams, but for now, here is my ever-changing playlist for my Target pilgrimages.
