What a white tee journey. Love the consistency with the white tee in the author photo, shows some real commitment to staying on theme!
I … still get my button ups from LL Bean but in my defense I’m gay and also I live in New England
“your honor, in my defense i’m gay”
“yeah fair case dismissed”
I’m originally from Vermont so like how could I NOT buy my button ups from them??
Love love this article. Some of my favorite and gayest shirts in my closet are white button ups and I am waaaaaaay to attracted to humans wearing jeans and a white tee with the sleeves cuffed, especially if they’re a woman/nb person who’s walking towards me like they wanna do me
haha thanks!
Comix for days! Love it!
But you beautiful humans in white shirts mystify me. How are you not covered in tea stains, splashes of spaghetti and random mud??
My forways into white tee wearing tend to last under an hour before ending in shame and disaster.
As a barista, it’s truly a miracle that my white tees don’t have more stains!
I feel this, not a day goes by where I don’t spill something on myself. Plus white clothes and my black dog don’t mix well. How are his paws dirty if he hasn’t been outside???
love this.
i love this. since i was young, the look of a white tee shirt, paired with jeans specifically has held such an allure. the first time i wore that, wow, i felt so confident.
woooop yes!!! cuffing sleeves = holy cow
I actually have a draft letter for a Find Your Fit submission tucked away somewhere that reads, “You know how every queer of every gender has that one photo on instagram where they’re slouchily lying on a bed in a white tank top tucked into blue denim? That’s all I want to be, forever.” so I felt really seen by this piece!
So accurate. Glad this resonated with you!
I have so many shitty white t-shirts that are like a tiiiny bit too tight but I refuse to get rid of them because I think I look cool, okay???
Saaame, I have a white gym shirts from middle school and uh a random white tees couple from elementary school age cause they ARE cool and I look hot in them.
One is a shirt from a ballet I was in, I may not have glutes or the stamina but I pretty much do have the flexibility still.
