Notes From A Queer Engineer is a recurring column with an expected periodicity of 14 days. The subject matter may not be explicitly queer, but the industrial engineer writing it sure is. This is a peek at the notes she’s been doodling in the margins.
May I suggest my favorite song ever, “Cassiopeia”? It is a heartbreaking love ballad and also about supernovas:

This song is so pretty!
<3 <3 <3 This makes me so happy!
Also "the Elements" by Tom Lehrer, which I pointlessly memorized as an undergrad for the purpose of impressing other chem-major nerds.
Also "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse (which is a lot easier to memorize and to rock out to…)
Hah! I have definitely tried to memorize that elements song in the past.
This is awesome and filled with little squareish robot heartshapes.
“Stellar Alchemist” by Kim Boekbinder and “Zero Point” by Tori Amos would fit nicely in this playlist
No joke, I’m Your Moon is going to be the song of my fiancée/future wife and I’s first dance at our wedding :-) It’s such a beautiful little song.
That is so sweet and romantic, omg. I love that.
