Carmen’s Team Pick:

When it comes to the classic emoji keyboard collection, there’s a couple things that are notably missing – more representations of people of color, anything resembling a popping bottle, and, well, lesbians. Luckily @lesbianemojis is here to save us all, sort of.

Designer Kimberly Linn showcases hilarious lesbian emojis – including fish tacos, Tegan & Sara albums, and a U-Haul truck – that I would 100% give anything to use in daily conversation on the @lesbianemojis Instagram page. Suddenly, I’m alive with the dream of spending an entire month using exclusively gay emoticon images to communicate with humans.

They’re not available as actual emoji yet, but soon you’ll be able to buy prints and simulate the gayest conversation online since Facebook’s really gay pride sticker collection via snail-mail by sending them back and forth to someone you love. And until your emoji keyboard speaks to you, they’ll help you keep on dreaming.
