It has been such a brutal year that sometimes it’s hard to find any hope and joy in the world. But Michelle Obama is not giving up, not on this planet or on this country or on me and you. She hopped in the car with The Late Late Show‘s James Corden this week to do Carpool Karaoke, and it is one of the most delightful things I have ever seen in my life. I laughed, I sang, I got teary.
