Confession: I unashamedly love Valentine’s Day. My rational, Love-Is-A-Construct heart loves Valentine’s Day. I love the idea of it, I love giving Valentines, I love getting presents, I love it all. I love pink and red and purple and hearts and even in years when I haven’t had a Valentine, I have never once complained. Sure, maybe I’ve rolled my eyes, because you guys, sometimes that shit gets ridiculous but in the end, I’m a sucker for an adorable, well-designed Hallmark-holiday.
Valentine’s Day Crafts
So this year, whether your Valentine is your long-time lady love, new beau or your cat, why not go above and beyond the regular Valentine card and make them a cute little craft? Here’s a roundup of a few (yes, they all involve hearts get over it) Valentine’s Day crafts that are easy and thoughtful.

+ Why not make your long-distance lover something heartfelt to cuddle with? I especially love these heart pillows because brown is so underrated. {Tutorial via Two More Minutes}
+ Tiny crocheted hearts. I repeat: tiny crocheted hearts. I want to make one million. {Tutorial via Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom}
Second column, top to bottom:
+ Embroidery patterns for the cat lovers out there? Yes, please. {Tutorial via The Pink Samurai}
+ How sweet would this heart mobile look over your girlfriend’s bed? {Tutorial via Girl In The Garage}
Third column, top to bottom:
+ I’m a sucker for a good wreath. This one is alive! {Tutorial via I Don’t Know How She Does It}
+ Oh my gosh, heart piñatas. Even the Valentine’s Day cynics can get behind this. {Tutorial via Dream Green DIY}
+ This family lovebird wall hanging actually just sent me into cuteness overload. I need a moment. {Tutorial via Craftcuts}
What will you guys be making for Valentine’s Day this year?
