Twice a year, our website puts on a long-weekend-long event called “A-Camp” in the wilds of the San Bernardino mountains and inevitably said event includes at least one triumphant concert headed up by the A-Camp Family Band. The A-Camp Family Band’s #1 mission is to encapsulate the energy and excitement embodied by the bands who inexplicably play all teenage television show proms even though in real life there’s never a real band, you just get a DJ or whatever.

The A-Camp Family Band is captained by our Music Editor Stef Schwartz with A-Camp Co-Director Marni Kellison and features singer Haviland Stillwell and drummer Alex Vega as well as a rotating roster of extraordinarily talented humans such as Lex Kennedy, Somer Bingham, Donna Rizzo, Brittani Nichols and Cara Giaimo.

For our October camp, Marni (musician, bear, my boifriend) arranged a mashup of two songs you probably love: “Waterfalls” by TLC and “She Keeps Me Warm” by Mary Lambert AND NOW as per crowd request, Haviland, Stef and Marni have recorded this mash-up for you! They’ve put it on the Cloud of Sound! Furthermore, rapper Licki Ucroj (aka actress Lauren Neal) drops in for the rap.

If you have a case of the Mondays, this song is a guaranteed cure.
