LIZZ’S TEAM PICK:
Last night President Barack Obama and House Speaker John Boehner both gave statements about the debt ceiling during prime time and Rachel Maddow Was On Vacation. This is Not Okay. How am I supposed to handle/understand/analyze/cry about political statements if the news isn’t delivered to me from Maddow’s shining face? How can I know how to properly cope with Political Feelings if Rachel doesn’t show me how to make a tangentially related cocktail?
