Imagine this: you’ve already watched Prime Video’s A League Of Their Own TV series all the way through five times, read every recap, learned the history, laughed at the homophobic reviews, taken the quiz, spotted the easter eggs — and still, you want more! Well, have I got news for you: there are five (5) deleted scenes available on Prime Video.
All you’ve gotta do is click on “X-Ray” when you’re viewing an episode and then click on “Bonus Content.” (The bonus content doesn’t show up when I try to access it through my Apple TV, but it’s easily accessible on my computer interface and also works for a Fire Stick.) You can do this episode by episode but If you wanna just see the full suite of bonus content available, then go to Episode 8 and do the aforementioned steps and you should find five deleted scenes from the whole season: Clance’s Mansion, Sounds Crowded, It’s In The Walls Now, Free Hot Dogs and Push Back When Provoked. There are also “Inside the Episodes” for every episode of the series!
There might be even more where that came from! A fan recently tweeted about the bar scene where it’s revealed that Jess witnessed Carson and Greta falling asleep in each other’s arms, and co-creator Will Graham said that scene actually was written and shot, and then everybody was like EXCUSE ME CAN WE SEE and he was like, I’m looking into it!
Oh, it’s the little things that make this fangirl happy.
Thanks for this.
I have a Fire TV stick and I’m quite sure you can do this with one of those too!
Updated the post, thank you for the info!!!
It’s not on my firetv I’ve looked everywhere. When I couldn’t find it on last episode I went through every single episode and. It does not have Bonus Content 😢
Thanks for this, just watched it and in the last ‘Inside the Episodes’ they spoke like they were definitely making another season so that is awesome.

The was so accurate to me, I had to laugh a lot when reading it. Thanks so much for the information, I was one of those thirsty for more content – also the creators speaking about their intentions etc. Very grateful!
Omg, why was that moment with Jess not in the show? I got really confused in ep 8 wondering if I missed something between her and Carson! But yay if they dig it out for us!
I have to keep thinking how this series is something like come-to-life and expensive fan fiction (or correction) for many queer people who loved the movie but wished some things had been differently:
– That Dottie hat stayed and continued playing baseball when her husband returned
– That Dottie had been queer
– That they hadn’t straight-washed so many of the players
– That the male coach had not been this central figure with a story from cynical alcoholic to (I guess) beloved team coach (this experiences and the womens’ dedication teach him to be a better human blah blah)
– That they had not just told the stories of white women
… What did I forget, or what are your points?
Yes, it’s such a gift in that way. I’ve seen some people calling for similar reworks of stories where you feel like a whole sapphic arc was left it – Bend It Like Beckham, for one.
(I get why Gurinda Chadha chose to focus on the first generation of immigrant family narrative at the time, but I think we’d be ready for it to have the queer story too, now. (And I’ve just realised why I expect Jonathan Rhys Meyers to be a baddie in everything he does, heh.))
+100000000 for bend it like beckham ~ sob hearrrts ~ my life would be VERY DIFFERENT if it had been explicitly queer.
UMMM did they ALSO write & shoot what in the hell Max & Esther were up to in Rice Lake?????? Chante Adams & Andia Winslow did a HELLUVA job with smiles & i think if the whole throwing flour scene in Fried Green Tomatoes counts as a sex scene (i think i read here that the director thought it did?) then Max & Esther’s SMILES between the door & the bus definitely also count as one but since i reject the premise that the flour scene is a sex scene. . . i mean COME ON. . . .
i mean tbh i ammmm actually more interested in their dialogue if i have to pick one (BUT I DON”T) – like how are they gonna navigate the whole being on a team thing? BOUNDARIES & EXPECTATIONS? and their different realities meeting? power dynamics? SO MANY QUESTIONNNNSSSSS
Love this series. It was very inspiring.
