This is very relatable. I see this more so on the internet than in person so far, but still not what I want to see.
Come to Portland lol. I love it here, I really do, god bless the queer scene here for the most part but also the performative white wokeness in the presence of (the relatively few) POCs is so cringey and SO obvious. Just be cool y’all!!
I will say it’s mostly under-25s who grew up in the Northwest that do this, I guess everyone’s always learning!
