Hallo! Look it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a Kim Stolz interview! Look, it’s a radio, no, it’s a car, no, it’s a Tuesday Televisionary! OMG, what’s that? Is that a party? Is that a raffle?

TEGAN & SARA: Tegan & Sara are on the cover of Curve Magazine! Furthermore, the cover looks good and sans- L Word Season Four promo photos. Does this mean we have to stop making fun of Curve magazine? Perhaps. Does this mean we will read it this month? Yes. Why? Because we read it every month. We even read the five page Pam Grier-related timeline of feminist history waiting for the article to begin. We can’t help it,  we love this weirdo magazine because it loves us, and we are needy.

KIDS THESE DAYS (ROCK)! For the first time at Mott Haven Village Preparatory Public High School (and perhaps in all of the Bronx), a high school same-sex couple, Victoria Cruz & her girlfriend Deoine Scott, were voted Best Couple by an overwhelming majority of students. (@sisterstalk)

GAY MARRIAGE: Same Sex Marriage Follies: “We’re not going to spend hours debating an issue that, you know, is not going to be of consequence.” (@nymag)

TRANS RIGHTS: Trans federal employees to get rights Lawyers for Obama are drafting first-of-their kind guidelines barring workplace discrimination against transgender federal employees, officials said Tuesday.(@nytimes)

A SHOT AT LOVE WITH COURTENAY CORONA: Courtenay Semel, a girl 3 lesbians know as Lindsay’s pre-Samantha hookup (and Tila Tequila’s pre-more hookups hookup), is getting her own reality show. (@hollyscoop)

WEBERWORLD: Google goes gay for pride: Gay-related searches on Google are having that plain blue line swapped out for some pride action. (@google)

RO! Rosie O’Donnell To Launch Daily Morning ‘Rosie Radio’ Show On SIRIUS XM Radio For Fall 2009: “This is an exciting new adventure — two hours of talk show entertainment, without having to wear makeup.”

WOMYN: Type-Casting – The Skinny Glutton (Liz Lemon, Grace Adler, Lorelei Gilmore): It’s not just eating: it’s gorging, debasing themselves, stuffing their faces against all the dictates of health and decorum. One could argue that they’re fostering an unhealthy relationship with food, making light of unhealthy emotional binging, and even fostering a perverse kind of thinspiration that suggests one can eat horribly and still meet Hollywood’s ideals – but the notion that these actresses actually eat this way is so implausible that it’s more an exercise in the grotesque than anything. (@jezebel)

STONEWALL: Seymour Pine, then the NYPD’s deputy inspector, has no regrets about the actions taken at Stonewall in 1969: “Yes, of course” the police did the right thing, Pine said in an interview with The Brian Lehrer Show. “When we took the action that we took that night, we were on the side of right.” (@queerty)

Craftster.org has been serving and inspiring indie artists and DIYers for almost six years. Founded all the way back in 2003 by Leah Kramer, Craftster was very much at the forefront of what we now lovingly refer to as the indie craft movement. In fact, some even credit Leah and her brainchild with being the face that launched a thousand glue guns. Can you believe that at one time, it was impossible to find a tutorial on making tie-dyed lights from empty yogurt cups? Thanks to Craftster, that time has passed.

The meat/tofu of the site is its forum, where members share tutorials, tips and spankin’ new ideas. As a member, you can also sign up for craft swaps, which are arguably the most exciting things possibly ever — I mean, who doesn’t love giving goodies and opening presents? Learn more about everything Craftster has to offer by joining the other 180,000+ members!  (-Laneia)

One lucky Autostraddler will win a prize pack full of awesome: (1) “Handmade is Better” tee, (1) Skully Scissors Tote Bag , (1) “Knitting is Knotty” sticker and (1) Bumble Bee Measuring Tape!

jess-rothschild-iconfrom Intern Jess: The Museum of Broken Relationships is an art instillation intended to ‘secure memory’ or ‘protect remembrance’ in order to preserve the material and nonmaterial heritage of broken relationships. It’s currently on tour but they have some pretty good exmaples of what you can find online.

Justin Wallis says he’s excited about art, and he’s here for us, which makes me super happy! I’m gonna buy a Homebody plaque! Check out his Paul Paper piece in the ‘Arts & Crafts’ section—lovely. Just lovely.
