  1. Should we really be donating to the ACLU? Like I get they have done some good, but they are also the same group that fought to let the White Power/KKK and Nazi have their protest in Virginia. On the other hand I have a pin from Kidd Bell that is pretty neat, and their merch people were nice in person; though I get the feeling(based on their products) they are a bit more trans man than trans woman friendly.

    • My partner works for one of the big non profits that got a huge influx of cash after the election (not the ACLU though). At this point she tells her friends not to donate to her’s of other big orgs, but find small ones in your community doing good things. Maybe there’s an organization working with trans/queer youth, or working to end mass incarceration. They desperately need money. The ACLU, etc have giant pots of money and will be just fine without it.

  2. OMG these are all so good. I’m half tempted to share my queer/trans/punk store, but I don’t wanna be *that* girl.
