I’m going to guess that anything called Dyke Central would be of immediate interest to you. This Oakland-based dramedy centers around 30-something butch best friends. The full length pilot finds roommates Alex and Gin scrambling to find a new roommate to ensure that Jackie, Alex’s girlfriend, doesn’t move into Dyke Central. With a name like that, who wouldn’t want to move in? If you like the episode, head over to their Indie Gogo to support them in their quest to make more episodes.

This week at Dinah Shore, I had the pleasure of meeting Lisa Cordileone of Easy Abby. There are some web series that slip through the cracks and apparently this was one of them. I try to keep video party populated with new thangs but I had to make an exception and reach back in time for this one. It’s one of the most popular lesbian web series ever so if you hadn’t happened upon it before this, I’m going to feel great about myself. Not to mention, Haviland Stillwell makes a guest appearance in the series.

In The Deep is a drama set in London’s East End about four best friends. One of these best friends, Emilia, has a confusing thing with her straight best friend, Riley. Sound familiar? Check the first episode out and see if the lies, love, and struggles interest you.
