Greetings. This is Brittani’s Video Party, where I bring some of the “best” videos from all over my internet together so we can clap, cry or deconstruct. Have you ever gotten to a video and it already has 33 million views and you wonder where the heck have you been? Well I’m here to help you so that you see it when it only has 32 million views. Aim low, world. Aim low.

I know we all have our problems with the glorification of allies from time to time but the existence of allies brought us this video of Tegan (what if you didn’t know what Tegan that meant, lol your life), Alia Shawkat and Arrested Development references. And for that I am forever thankful.
The White House made a video of Bo, the Obamas’ funny-looking dog, exploring the holiday decorations that currently adorn his home. Unfortunately the video is missing the 300 pound gingerbread house which should have been the real hit. That dog needs to get his priorities together.
Have you ever wondered what Girls would look like as a WB original series? Of course not. But someone else did and they made what’s pretty much a mash-up of Gilmore Girls and Lena Dunham’s show.
Speaking of early 2000s nostalgia, Britney Spears just put out a video with will.i.am and she is not looking like the lifeless human doll we’ve all come to know and feel sorry for. She’s wearing some sort of black body suit situation and sounding like a British drag queen robot. I’m into it.
I know everyone’s excited about Beyonce’s documentary but Jay-Z released a short on December 4th (his birthday) about the eight shows he put up at the Barclay Center. Before anybody was talking about swag, I was jocking Jay’s. This short showcases that, his masterful vision and his business acumen as you get a look into what he’s brought to the table as the Director of the Arena. It’s obvious from the short that the Nets move to Brooklyn has already invigorated both fans of the team and the rapper. Late in the clip, Jay-Z is taking the subway to the arena and sits next to visual artist Ellen Grossman. She doesn’t recognize him but realizes he’s famous and the cutest interaction takes place.
I know you were on pins and needles wondering what my other holiday movie would be and duh, it’s The Hobbit. I like The Hobbit way more than the LOTR books. To be fair, I only read the first two. Also, I haven’t read The Hobbit since eighth grade but I suspect I will be reading it soon enough as I am currently on a “reread books I read/should have read during my teen”‘ kick. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is in theaters December 14th.
If you have a video you think everyone should see, tweet it to @bishilarious for consideration. And of course feel free to post your favorite videos from the week below.
