Brittani’s Team Pick:
HuffPost Live has a new segment called “The Week in Gay” which is a roundup of the most memorable LGBT stories from the week. It’s hosted by Noah Michelson (Gay Voices Editor) and lady queer Alex Berg (Producer, Journalist). Last week I joined them and we chatted about Desmond Tutu, Russia, and The Fosters amongst other topics. I’ll be joining them again this week along with Kim Stolz (America’s Next Top Model, owner of The Dalloway). The segment is slated for every Friday at 4:45pm ET so tune in on Huffington Post Live each week to catch up on your gay news and see some of your favorites stop by the HuffPost Studio.

DON’T FORGET ABOUT ME WHEN YOU’RE FAMOUS
I like this so hard!
I just happened to see this yesterday, and was surprised to see Brittani there.
But unfortunately, every time you, Brittani, spoke, it came across as if you were really unmotivated, had nothing substantial to contribute, and just didn’t really care. I was really disappointed to see Autostraddle represented like that. I don’t know why this happened this way, but coming across as if you don’t really care doesn’t make you look cool, if that were the case.
In any case I know that it doesn’t go hand in hand with the high hopes I have for Autostraddle and although it would probably be too much to ask for a professional appearance (speaking wise), just basic public communication skills wouldn’t be too much to ask for. I hope it goes better next time.
um, this comment is unnecessarily mean and condescending and straight-up bizarre. and also untrue, as brittani brought some genuinely amusing subversive observational humor to the table. any awkwardness was due to the show’s format/hosting style.
