AHHH! There’s so much queer pop culture news today! Let’s just get right into it! (I’ve got a standalone coming at you about the WNBA Championship!)
+ Funny Girl star Beanie Feldstein doesn’t “know” Lea Michele “whatsoever.”
+ Leo Sheng and Jillian Mercado on their Gen Q rom-com romance.
+ Gen Q’s Wilder Yari has joined the CW reboot of 4400.
+ America Ferrera, Tanya Saracho and Gloria Calderón have partnered with HARNESS and the Untitled Latinx Project that they respectively co-founded to create DEAR Hollywood to ensure “greater representation of Latine voices, stories, talent and creativity on both sides of the camera and on set and in the corner offices in the film and TV industry.”
+ AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

Has Harley quinn fixed or apologized for their antisemitism?
She’s not real, hope this helps
I hope your post about the Sky’s WNBA title includes many thoughts about #QueerMarriageGoals Courtney Vandersloot and Allie Quigley winning a championship together against the same team they lost a championship to seven years ago when they were just a lil burgeoning couple, because if you ask me, a diehard Sky fan who saw them win in person last night, that’s the bigger story than hometown hero Candace Parker (although maybe not as big a story as Kahleah Fucking Copper as MVP).
I kinda feel like Candace Parker being queer and keeping it quiet (while her girlfriend decidedly has *not*) is a bigger story than the Vanderquigs, personally.
no one has to choose, both can get covered :) they seem happy to share/acknowledge each other’s efforts, so it’s an easy suit to follow.
But that’s just it: in the W, it’s only the white queer couples that get coverage. This is starting to change with the recent engagements that have come out of the league, but it seems like the only coverage the Black queer players in the W get is when they’re in trouble. Give us Black queer love stories, please!
if you were Mervyn’s, Heather, and this was a 90’s era sale event, i’d be right outside the door saying, “open, open, open…”
