d.r. baker is a Korean trans lesbian educator based in Los Angeles. Fired from a religious school for coming out as trans, she now works towards advancing equity and inclusion in public education. Her doctoral research identifies practices that protect trans students from preschool through college. She is the host of How to Be Trans and has appeared on The Toast and Tales from the Closet.
