Howdy! I’m sure that pretty much no one is ever gonna see this. I’m never even logged in when I go onto Autostraddle, but I’m bored sooooo whatever. Anyway, I’m Bailey and no, I am not going to start a new paragraph. I’m still in high school. I never know if that’s one word or two. Google Chrome said that it was wrong as a single word, so I’m putting it as two. But, yeah, I’m a junior. Don’t judge me. I love making new friends, but it’s really hard for me. All of my friends are black (except for my one Asian friend who thinks that I have a crush on him, but I don’t.) Not sure where that period goes… I’m not exactly sure why all of my friends are black. It’s sort of unfortunate, actually. I’ve always wished to have a nice racially diverse group of friends, but it’s never really happened. But as far as sexual orientation goes my friends are pretty diverse, so that’s good, right? I’m not sure why I’m saying this. Okay, I’ll start a new paragraph.

I have a huge aversion to social networking sites. I hate them. They give me anxiety like nobody’s business. I guess that’s why I don’t log in when I come here. My personality type is INFP, so I’m prone to being overly sensitive and kinda emo. But, on the bright side, I’m really nice. I’m also super careful about what I say because most people fail to realize this, but things that you may find insignificant can be very hurtful to someone else.

I really like nature. And I find science intriguing even though I don’t really understand it much. I find myself constantly amazed by life and the universe and matter and space. It’s absolutely incredible that we’re all here and that everything that is here is. And that this computer exists and what I’m writing now can be seen by anyone in the entire world. And that we have the eyes to be able to see it. And that I have the hands to be able to type it. No one I know seems to share this fascination. Maybe it’s because we’re all so young. Or maybe it’s just because I’m a fucking weirdo.

Though I claim to be agnostic, I am unintentionally very superstitious and have also taken up quite a few Wiccan practices. After first casting off all forms of religion, I’ve found that sometimes they’re my only solace. You see, I’m an anxious and paranoid MESS, so I always believe that something bad is going to happen to me or someone I love, usually my parents. The only thing that helps is to ask for help from something greater. I love my parents a lot. My mom and I are really close, and I don’t know what I’d do without her. My dad is really cool. He and I both really like cool old funky things that no one really cares about anymore (besides hipsters).

I really like food. I love tacos and nachos and Chinese food and rice and fruit. It will truly be unfortunate when all of the eating I’ve been doing lately catches up with me because my body was not meant to have a lot of weight on it. Not because I’m skinny, but because my bone structure is so small. Trust me, I may be skinny to the point that I’m underweight, but by no means am I bony. I am as squishy as squishy comes. I actually did not know this until someone pointed it out.

Apparently I look like I’m twelve. That’s what my friends say. I try my best to counteract this, but I’m not sure if it’s actually been working. I’ve made it my goal to wear makeup daily and I’ve ditched my “spider-man” days. Those are the days I dress more butch, but not actually butch because I couldn’t look butch to save my life. They’re called my Spider-man days because fuck you I’m Spider-man.

Okay, I’m gonna stop this now because what I’m writing makes no sense and I’m just writing because I’m bored.
