  1. If I were running against Caster Semenya, I’d ask to be able to raise my T levels to hers. Why shouldn’t I be able to, if that’s my choice? [That seems a lot fairer than punishing Caster for her innate T.]

    But I can imagine that the Track&Field Powers That Be would see my alternative as the worst of possible worlds “like East Germany in the 70s!” (nevermind that I believe those female athletes were all but compelled to ‘roid up).

  2. The Chicago Blackhawks are the Stanley Cup champions, after beating the Boston Bruins on Monday. The Hawks won their fifth Stanley Cup in franchise history and their second in the last four seasons.

  3. The Windy City representatives rode a dominating regular season into the playoffs and – aside from having some trouble with the Red Wings in round two – were unmatched on their way to the Cup win in the shortened season.
