Hi! It is Sunday (obviously), and guess what? I’m so bored. I’m SO BORED. Even with simultaneous movie nights and puzzles and crossword puzzles, everything just seems endless lately. All I want to do is like, go get a tattoo or window shop or get my nails done, or honestly even go study in a library, just to be around another person. But I can’t! And so, instead of focusing on how bored I am, let’s focus on some good news!

+ Let’s celebrate 20 years of comrade Britney Spears‘ sophomore album, Oops!…I Did It Again

+ Kerry Washington‘s at home yoga will make you love her even more, even if it doesn’t feature a cameo of her kids who we’ve never seen.

+ Doc Martens are releasing a boot for Pride, as if wearing Docs isn’t gay enough!

+ NYC is hosting a virtual pride, featuring the likes of Janelle MonΓ‘e and Dan Levy!

+ Cowboy hats and Pride flags: being gay in Wyoming.

+ It’s been a long time coming, but students in Montgomery County, MD will soon be able to take LGBTQ studies courses.

+ Albania has become the third European country to ban conversion therapy.

+ So uh, we talked about this on Wednesday, but I’m still not over it β€” did y’all see Entertainment Weekly‘s Pride cover?

+ Taiwan’s LGBTQ streaming platform, GagaOOLala (wow, is that the best name or is that the best name????) is now available worldwide!

+ The history of the word “wife” for lesbians and queer women. 😭😭😭

+ These celebs grew up with gay parents!Β

Alright friends, hope you’re surviving and thriving. Have you done any cool art this week? Taken a walk? Called a friend? Read a book?

When I’m feeling sad and scared and lonely this week β€” because the sad and scared and lonely feelings come every week lol β€” I’m gonna try and remind myself that even though I shouldn’t leave my house, I can get off of twitter, and make art, or try to do a handstand, or play with my cats, or dance to Vulfpeck in my underwear, or practice the aleph bet or literally a million other things. I am so privileged to have a home that I feel safe in and activities galore, and dangit, we’re fighting off boredom this week! Let’s do it, babes! I believe in you, and me, and us!
