For me, getting ready for a Femme Meetup, like the ones we have at camp, requires picking out an outfit, doing my hair, putting on makeup, staying hydrated (because it can take forever) and making sure everything is perfect. This is a time when I’m in total control. I’m in my own world, and it is a world of comfort, power, strength and confidence. Now, getting ready for a Femme Meetup might not have all the same steps for you. Maybe you aren’t really a makeup kind of femme. Maybe you’ve got to get out your favorite leather jacket. Maybe you need to make a flower crown to wear. No matter what you like to do to express your own personal brand of Femme, this music will help you get there.

Though this playlist is more aimed at my baby than me I listened to a bunch of the tracks (cos an Autostraddle playlist is ALWAYS worth listening to), and had heaps of fun. That Dresses Song is soooo cute. And Do My Thing is an awesome anthem anyone can identify with!
