Hey! Hi! You may remember that Riese’s birthday is coming up on the 23rd, and she’s asked for us to do just one thing: help her give money to Autostraddle’s writers! Our writers work so so so hard you guys.
In fact, she’s so excited about this she’s enlisted her mom (of latkes with applesauce, matzoh caramel crunch and mysterious mailed items fame) to help her bake cookies in an internet bake sale for you adorable weirdos!
As you may or may not recall, a donation of $60 or more will get you eight delicious homemade cookies, which will taste like love and community and birthdays. There are vegan and gluten-free options aplenty. But the reason I’m reminding you of this now is that Riese’s mom is getting into town THURSDAY and so your last day to donate for cookies is TOMORROW! (Obvs you can still donate after tomorrow, but you won’t get any home-baked cookies for it.) (The option to get a handmade card from Riese remains, but you can’t eat cards, so.) A reminder of what could lie in your future:
All you have to do is donate, and then forward the email confirmation of your donation to Bren [at] autostraddle [dot] com requesting the type of cookies that you want and giving us your mailing address.
