Furthermore, here’s why most Americans agree that pot should be legal. Here’s some music to listen to. Here are some new things to look at:

  1. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles wouldn’t promote pizza today, during an obesity epidemic. Just like Cookie Monster would be frowned upon if created today. Food is the new pot.

  2. Omigod, I haven’t even finished this, but I needed to point out the hilarity of the 1890’s ad:”You may remember Professor Leydon from such gigs as The Deathbed of Tsar Alexander III!”

    • that’s fucking amazing
i want to describe myself from now on like that, “You may remember riese from such gigs as The Deathbed of Dana Fairbanks”

    • I love the PROFESSOR SENATOR, a person so amazing their name is simply two professions back to back!

  3. Washington and Colorado are doing it even better than us, but in all the talk about them recently people are forgetting that here in Alaska it’s been legal to own a small amount of pot for many years now.

It’s funny, I could get some anytime I wanted but I’ve never had the urge to. Never smoked any. lol

  4. “feeding the God Moloch”? That ad is freaking me out and I don’t even smoke pot (much).

Also, the last one would be perfect if it was for drugs THEN pizza.

  5. I’m bored, so I looked up all the addresses from the vintage ads. Two of those locations mentioned are now Citibanks … what are the odds

  6. “Weed with roots in Hell! Not recommended for children.”

no, I thought my 8-year-old would be fine with some hellweed. He’s very mature. Also he has these two weird bumps on his head and his teeth are kind of pointy but that runs in the family.

  7. Wait, in the second picture from the 1930s, are they shooting up weed? Also, my first thought upon seeing that last one was that little girl from the taco commercials going “Why not both?” and everyone cheering.
