+ Stoya wrote an open response to a number of questions asking variations of, “Is there something wrong with me if I like/don’t like ____?”:

“You have the right to be wanton, sexually provocative, and promiscuous. You have the right to wear as little clothing as legally allowed by the government where you live. Actually, I guess you can wear less clothing than legally allowed as you don’t mind dealing with the hassle of being arrested and having a record. You can have sex with men, women, people who identify as in-between or as neither. You can find consenting and enthusiastic partners for the most depraved erotic acts your brain or someone else’s can imagine. You might not have the legal right to engage in these acts according to the state or county you live in, but if everyone involved is a rational, consenting adult and you keep your metaphorical blinds closed you’ll probably be ok. I am not a lawyer and “you’ll probably be ok” does not in any way mean that I have any idea what I’m talking about when it comes to giving blowjobs in Virginia. You have the right to communicate your desires in what is ideally a respectful manner and hope that the person(s) you’re attracted to share them.

Conversely, you don’t have to exercise any of those rights. […]

[But] you’re highly unlikely to find any of these things until you figure out what you want and get comfortable with asking for it.”

+ Hurricane sex: it’s only sort of a thing.

+ Em and Lo has rules for being the third wheel in a threesome with a couple.

+ Elle Lynn Stranger writes about what it’s like to work in a porn shop:

“After a couple years dabbling in health care, I grew tired of often ending my shifts in tears. On a whim, I dropped an application at a local adult store, and was hired. The four years I spent behind the counter of the porn shop taught me much more than any psychology, sociology, or human sexuality class ever could; that the retail end of the sex industry is a clear reflection of people as a whole.”

+ The Crunk Feminist Collective posted about the silliest girl in vagina class:

“On Being Woman
Dr. Sue: Let’s name one or two things we love about being women. We’ll go around the circle.
Gender Essentialist: Being emotional and loving.
Loud Religious Moralist: Using my body to bring life into the world and producing food with my own breasts.
Me (I am trying to avoid social constructs and stick to the body, but I end up looking like a pervert): I love having a clitoris, a body part designed exclusively for pleasure.
SILLIEST GIRL IN VAGINA CLASS: I like that you can wear jeans and skirts and not be gay.”

+ The following is from Vanessa Vaughn’s “Pinup” in Best Lesbian Erotica 2009:

“We passed rows and rows of deserted stacks before finally stopping. She eyed the paper in her hand as she checked the numbers, adjusting those adorable black glasses.

Bettie turned and walked halfway to the end, long legs placed gracefully one in from of the other. I followed close behind her. She took one more glance at the paper before she stopped and slowly bent over at the waist, reaching for a book on the bottom shelf.

My heart left into my throat.

Tease is right, I thought. It was obvious she was doing this for my benefit. In those heels, I could see everything from this angle, her pert backside framed with a lacy black thong. Without saying a word, she was making it clear what she expected, and I eagerly indulged her.

I picked up a book and smacked her firmly on that perfect ass. She let out a little cry of surprise as I did this, but she didn’t protest. She held her position. In response, I smacked her twice more, this time hard. I could see pale red marks forming on her skin.

‘Stand up,’ I said.

She complied. I reached forward and spun her around. She had a startled look on her face, obviously surprised by my strength, and I liked that. I pulled her hips toward me roughly and she smiled.”

    • lol yeah i honestly haven’t read it yet either, scrolled right through the pics and now i’ll go back to read the text :P

  1. The pic in the threesome article… I chuckled a little because they just look so darn HAPPY.

Also, whoa, the last pic again…

  2. Yup, I was the silliest girl in vagina class, too, when it came to sexuality and relationships outside of the hetero framework. I do have to give my mother credit for giving me straight (ha!)talk about where babies come from at an early age. However, thank-goodness for Autostraddle and queer friends who don’t mind talking about sex. :)

    Also, real dyke porn…

  3. How am I even expected to actually read lesbosexy sunday with all the boobs and ass just casually hanging around!?…

  4. I could not even choose a favorite picture today! OMG, I want them all!

And that poor Silliest Girl in Vagina Class, I just want to give her a hug. Of course, I was lucky enough to be discussing c-sections with my doctor mother when I was eight, so…

  5. Okay… Now maybe I should actually read the article rather than just scrolling through and drooling over all of the lesbosexy that is happening…

    Damn…

  6. I attempted to read the article but sadly I just kept getting distracted by all of the photos. Time to go check out the sites those photos came from. ♥ lesbosexy sunday ♥.

  7. That…um….that err…that, that last picture there…that…she…umm….I can’t remember any thoughts I’ve had before. Basically. So…call me?

  8. lol, saying women are caring and loving is gender essentialism (it is) but saying all women have a clitoris isn’t (IT DEFINITELY IS)? cis people really need to go back to trans 101 or something.
