Welcome to NSFW Lesbosexy Sunday!
+ Ah, Spring! The time when a young queer’s love turns to sexting. Except that according to a recent poll, 1 in 10 people have sexted the wrong person.
“About 48% of women surveyed have sent a sexts to a partner, followed by only 45% of men. About 12% said they find it easier to send texts with sex-related verbiage than to say it in person.”
+ The Feminist Porn Awards finally happened! At Fleshbot, queer porn star Jiz Lee has an excellent post about why they are excellent:
“Shine Louise Houston has said, ‘Talking about porn is like dancing about architecture.’ Having a BA in Dance, I couldn’t agree more. In this line of work, there’s no right or wrong in sexual interpretation, and for me, it’s the diversity of perspectives — much like the diversity of the work itself — that matters when it comes to presenting alternative visions of porn. One point I did walk away with, is that no matter what the producer’s experience, style or execution, as long as the intention is good (consensual, ethical, or [insert your definition of ‘good porn’ here…]), one should stand firmly and be proud of what they are making.”
+ Fleshbot also has a list of new queer sex mags that is relevant to your interests (and pants), including Salacious Magazine, Dirty Queer Magazine, and Translady Fanzine.
+ Robot prostitutes could be the future of the sex tourism industry, according to a recent New Zealand study:
“Management professor Ian Yeoman, a futurist with an interest in tourism, and sexologist Michelle Mars from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand, have looked to how red light districts might operate in the year 2050.
The futuristic scenario of sex tourism suggests android prostitutes will reign supreme, eliminating the risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections in an industry free from sex slavery.”

+ The New York Museum of Sex is holding exhibitions on “Universe of Desire” and “F*CK ART” until June. It sounds (and looks) really good:
“I highly recommend it for the open minded, art savvy, and those with a general interest in sexuality (not just having sex). While this may not count as watching pornography, it still gave me a further insight into another culture and satisfied my appetite for contemporary art.”
+ Being a gay male escort is interesting:
“I spend a good amount of my work time offering support and advice to men in their 30s and 40s who are just coming out of the closet. Surprised? I was too, at first. But then I thought, where else are these guys going to catch up on two decades of sexual and social experience? Until someone comes out with ‘Gay for Dummies,’ the next best thing is a trained professional. […] But nothing prepared me for Hector.”
+ Public Sex, Private Lives, is a forthcoming documentary about what it’s like to work in porn:
+ This Excerpt of “Strong,” by Xan West, comes from Say Please, edited by Sinclair Sexsmith:
“I lifted her up from her knees, unlocked her cuffs, and seated her in the bondage chair, clipping the cuffs to it and attaching her ankles. I put her in this chair when she’s a girl. It reminds her to keep her legs spread for me.
It’s a rule of mine. When she’s my girl, she is required to keep her thighs apart. They never touch in my presence. It makes her constantly aware of her body, the position she’s in. She is always conscious of her cunt. I want it to feel exposed, even behind layers of clothing. Exposed just by her own awareness. With this one simple rule, I claim ownership of her body, her cunt, her focus. From across the room I am inside her, spreading her thighs, exposing her cunt, deep inside her head.”

Sexting. Yes. More please!
For Boston-area “Say Please” fans, Sinclair and several Say Please writers will be reading LIVE at the Midway Cafe in JP starting at 8PM! Link to Facebook event listing.
Mr. Sexsmith’s Say Please anthology is f-ing amazing. So hot and so good. It *will* make you want to try something new. Go get it. Let it inspire you. Savor it. I’m reading it slowly and enjoying every bite.
I can’t wait until I get a copy of “Say Please”. That excerpt was mind-blowingly hot!
Do get a copy – it’s amazing. And if you’re looking for more queer BDSM writing immediately… I have a blog you might enjoy: bdswain.com
but then the robots will rise up against us while our pants are down. :(
Well, if the robot is hot I might tell her that yes, I happen to be Sarah Connor…
I’d like a sex-robot modelled after Kate Moennig. Where can I place my order?
the idea of robot prostitutes frightens and excites me.
i feel like penetrating a robot vagina might hurt my hand and/or maybe break a strap-on.
would i need a robotic dildo then?
Lady sex robot had me at Janelle Monae and lost me when it said “you have a nice weiner
I think I’ll wait for version 2.0…
When sexting I am often paranoid that I will send the response to a wrong person, especially if I have gotten texts from a couple different people in a short amount of time. So far, no mishaps, but I think it’s only a matter of time. Fortunately, I’m not in the habit of using text with my folks.
I have drunkenly sent a sext (text only, thank god) to a good friend while attempting to send it to my girlfriend. Luckily she thought it was hilarious.
I have had hours-long sexting sessions while in class before, which was probably a bad idea. Long distance relationships are hard.
And now I will always wonder if messges I receive were actually intended for me
thanks for the post about Public Sex, Private Lives. So people know – if you donate to the film for the next four days you can get some awesome rewards. A polaroid of Lorelei Lee, Princess Donna, or Isis Love. Front row seats at an unscripted girl on girl wrestling sex match. A copy of the film. And more! check it out.
Say Please is so good! I just reviewed it at The Lesbrary. “Strong” was one of my favorites.
