Hello and welcome to this thing we’re doing where we help you figure out what you’re gonna put in your mouth this week. Some of these are recipes we’ve tried, some of these are recipes we’re looking forward to trying, all of them are fucking delicious. Tell us what you want to put in your piehole or suggest your own recipes, and we’ll talk about which things we made, which things we loved, and which things have changed us irreversibly as people.
I’ve been on a huge ginger kick lately. Ginger beer! Ginger soup! Ginger smoothies! Ginger tea! At a certain point I started to want ginger in more than just liquids and branched out on pinterest and here we are. Below, 43 ways to enjoy ginger when it’s cold and when it’s not. (Be sure to pay attention to what type of ginger the recipe calls for.)
This speaks to my Ginger-lovin heart. I had a Ginger Margharita last night and I’m still smiling from it. Thanks for the inspiration.
Fantastic! This sustains my soul. I had some ginger and honeycomb ice-cream a few weeks ago (even though it was February) and it was magical.
I love all of this. One of my favorite ginger recipes is for chocolate ginger snaps: http://www.budgetbytes.com/2011/12/chocolate-gingersnaps/.
Thanks for sharing!
well this is amazing
I’m so excited to try every single recipe here… and I have ginger to spare!!
Ginger is oh so warming and fiery and yet soothing and gets things flowing, especially your digestive system.
As someone who lives on a boat (with an easily seasick partner), I’m so pumped to try out some of these recipes. Up until now, I’ve really only used it in drinks and cookies.
Thanks Carolyn!
I’ve been in a serious ginger phase lately, so this is everything I needed in my life.
Shortbread with crystallised stem ginger. thank me later.
(I don’t bother with the ground rice, I just throw in that amount of extra flour if I remember)
