If you’re spending all your time at home, you might ask yourself —why wear hard pants? There is really no reason to. So here are our suggestions for what to wear instead.
Zamora Jogger Scrub Pants
XXS – 2XL
“About six months ago I started getting ads on Instagram for FIGS, which is actually a company that sells scrubs. But they’re all very cute, and meant to be worn by people who have to wear them for 12 hour shifts so they’re incredibly comfy. Their joggers are the perfect amount of snug and loose, plus they have five perfectly functional pockets.”

Also, a teenager in Tampa, FL has determined this is “aesthetic. perfection.” and I’m old enough to just believe anything a teen tells me.”

Aerie Play Me High-Waisted Legging
XXS – 2XL, 7/8 – 8/8 Length
“I love these Aerie Play leggings because they’re high waisted, come in a 7/8 leg which for me is an 8/8 leg, and ride the line between ‘transparent’ and ‘will not get harassed if I walk the dog in them’ without crossing it. They’re not tight enough to stay in place over long runs or if you tend to shove your phone or keys down the back of any pants that don’t have pockets for a jaunt around the block or whatever (…just me?), but they hold their shape over multiple wears, including after a wear to bed or a day working in contorted positions that I will likely regret late doing yoga.”

“Gather the fuck around and hear me sing the praises of balloon pants: they are the perfect pant. Roomy, breathable, cute lil’ cinched waste, and, most importantly, a cuffed leg so that all that flowy business doesn’t get tangled around your legs or trapped in a car door (sometimes I just go get in my car and drive around the block ok). Perfect damn pant.”

My fave are Joggers from Dapper Boi (https://www.dapperboi.com/collections/joggers). Had to buy another pair when stay-at-home became the norm.
is the thigh tag leather?
Like my root, Sporty Spice, I favor track pants
Truly, truly the content I need. Thank you!
If you want to make your own I recommend this pattern : https://shop.tillyandthebuttons.com/products/marigold-digital
It’s both a soft pant and a JUMPSUIT pattern, so you can truly live the Generation Q dream !
I’ve made one pair of pants and two jumpsuits from this pattern and they’re the most comfortable pieces in my wardrobe. I plan on reworking it to make a pair of culottes, too.
Excellent! I plan on filling my wardrobe with these
Oh, I love that neckline! I personally don’t like wearing jumpsuits (because you need to undress every time you need the bathroom) but it’s real pretty.
Wearing pants? In this economy?
i may not recover from this.
My god. I have realized the error of my ways. When I could have been living in my nerd-inspired underwear only, I have committed such an unnecessary action as pants. Questioning all of Quarantine choices.
I’ve become a big fan of Lucy and Yak. Their Kia pants are light and cute and have big pockets, and as it’s been chilly af here in Wisconsin I’ve been basically living in their dungarees during quarantimes.

Looks comfortable.
Those TomboyX dino pjs were my first quarantine comfort buy, many weeks ago. 10/10 loving the kiddo regression feels. Also can confirm: very soft.
awww so cute
I have been wearing sparkly leggings for (*checks watch*) 140 years now.
Ok but HELP I have lots of comfy loungewear for cold weather but also almost nothing for summer! I need versions of these in shorts if anyone has any recs.
Also what is going on with the person’s left foot in that Signaturesoft photo?
Judging by the length of her fingers…. I think her toes have come to play !
Can you sew basic things by any chance? I have this viscose (=rayon) trousers with lama print, and they are basic culottes with all straight lines and an elastic waistband. They are by far the most comfortable summer trousers I own and I’ve been thinking of copying the pattern.
Those wrap pants are fairly easy to make, but a pain if you need to go to the bathroom. (This is an easy tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CftHWVyzhYY)
Or my camping look, which is a knee lenght cargo pants bought from the mans department of a very boring store and they are pretty damn comfy. It has so many pockets!
love love love that the size ranges are posted! <3
I love the dinosaur one! And the yellow linnen one, it’s very pretty. My personal experiece with anything with > 50% linnen though, is that it needs a lot of ironing and I hate ironing.
I don’t like the eco-fleece, because it’s still 50% polyester. Even if it’s recycled, it will still give of lots of microplastics when washing. Calling it eco-fleece feels like greenwashing it.
