I am not too proud to admit that although I love penetration, like really love penetration, I am also very lazy about it. Waltzing into my life like the hero it is, this toy arrived in pieces like an IKEA bookshelf. Thankfully simple to assemble, the thrusting vibrator has four parts. The handle of the toy has a diamond-cut sleeve for easy grip and can be used on its own or connected to the suction up base. There are two attachments for the handle — a G-Spot attachment or the bulb attachment.

While the three vibration speeds weren’t anything to write home about, I was very pleased by the seven different thrusting speeds and patterns. The first time I used this toy, I tried to hold it into myself and it…just didn’t work. This toy would work with someone holding it against someone else’s body, but when I tried to do it to myself, the toy kept slipping out of place. I didn’t sweat it though, because holding it isn’t the appeal of this thrusting vibrator — it’s that dreamy suction cup base.

Previously, I’ve had some luck with the Fun Factory Pulsators. The shapes that Fun Factory develops are always functional and smart — their thrusting vibrators are shaped like regular vibrators, but they use two magnetic weights to create a thuddy back-and-forth motion. I’ve heard rumors that some people can keep them inside with just their legs/ muscles, but that hasn’t been my experience. I usually have to hold the toy inside with my hand.

And that is where the magical wonder lands with the Thrust & Go. The ability to suction cup this toy to the wall and have it actually stay in place is, again, wondrous! It leaves both hands open to do so many things. Fucking in ways I’ve only previoulsy been able to do with a partner are now things I can accomplish alone. I can easily hold my porn-playing phone and a vibrator against my clit while simultaneously getting pounded. I can fuck my ass and hold a Magic Wand while getting pounded. I can play with my chest and eat a peach while getting pounded. I can phone a friend while gripping a pillow while getting pounded. You get the idea.

I had trouble getting the suction cup to stick to all surfaces, but once it sticks, it’s strong and stable. It works best with a flat, smooth surface, but I was able to screw myself with it against drywall, in the bath, on tile and against a mirror. The base also pivots, so you’re really able to angle the toy in a way that’s best for how you’re sitting, lying down or standing. I wouldn’t describe the Thrust & Go as quiet, but it wasn’t nearly as loud as many thrusting vibrators out on the market. Best of all, the Thrust & Go’s thrusts are good, strong thrusts with an actual in-and-out motion that really jive with my body. The two silicone attachments have a little flexibility and bend to them to ensure that it’s not too hard in your body.

One thing to note is the thrusting stops if you press up hard against the toy. I don’t think this is a design flaw — I think it’s to ensure that the thrusting vibrator doesn’t bang against a cervix. As someone who at times feels like my G-spot is all the way in there, I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t grind against the toy and keep it moving.

While it required a little bit of work to put the Thrust & Go together and stick it against a wall, being able to use my hands while getting the penetration I desire is totally worth pulling it off the shelf any day.
