Do your eyeballs need a treat? Are you looking for fashion inspiration to guide you through the years or tomorrow’s trip to the office? Do you delight in bow ties, nice leather accessories, and the occasional pair of really sweet glasses?
Well, my friend. Have I got something for you. Or, rather, have I found something for you which was created lovingly by the DapperQ team to make all your wishes come true: The 100 Most Stylish DapperQs of 2015, which is full of superstars you know and love and a bunch of people you’ll probably develop Internet crushes on within the next fifteen minutes.
Among the fine threads are Lydia Okello, Autostraddle’s own Fashion Editor:
Magda Janczak, A-Camp Alum and occasional Justin Bieber lookalike:
Elliot Sailers, male model whom Cara had strong feelings about that time:
Ruby Rose, who needs no introduction:
Ali Talan, y’know, from the wedding you went gaga for with good reason:
Jane Lynch, who you love like a sister:
and Esther Quek, who is not on her phone in this picture:
Check the full crew out here and show some love for our faves in the comments! Especially for Lydia, whom nobody could possibly appreciate or love enough.
I need that floral jacket like nothing else.
every picture lydia takes im just like…DAMN! killing the game forever and ever
lydia’s an inspiration to us all
yay lydia!
but why do only more ‘masculine’ presenting women (and ruby) get praised for their looks?
i mean, they are stunning (!!!) but i can’t help but feel like this hyper-adorance for masculinity is rooted in internalised mysogyny.
not the loud and obvious kind of mysogyny.
and maybe the author just has a certain type – but over and over again, i feel like femme girls/women are kinda swept under the rug when it comes to get-the-look:queer representation.
(i am on the androgynous side, so i might be out of line or seeing things – i certainly don’t wanna talk over femme girls/women. it’s just something that has been bothering me, especially since i’ve witnessed a certain hostility towards femmes in queer spaces)
Well, it’s DapperQ
Maybe this is stating the obvious, but this is just a link to dapperQ’s top 100, and dapper is that sites baseline. As to femme invisibilty on autostraddle, I think I remember quiet a few pieces including carolyn and fit for a femme, doing a couple of different series on queer looks, maybe interviewing people? (P.s. I thought that interview series was awesome and id love to see it revived.)
Any other suggestions on how they could do something interesting and dedicated for the femmes? I was just trying to think of a spin on their autostraddle 100 hot things, 100 invisible things… but i think that would mostly end up being stuff from space… or labs.
we’ve definitely published a lot of stuff on this very website honoring folks on the femme side of things! w/r/t femme fashion specifically, we’ve got this: http://develop.autostraddle.com/tag/femme-fashion/
Thank you for giving me something to make work a little less dull this Saturday!
*fans self with the world’s biggest fan*

Sure, it’s big enough for both of us.
OMG! Esther Quek. Esther Quek. Esther Quek. The best dressed of all time, IMHO. Sigh…
