The reference to this is too real!!!! It was JUST raining last night and of course all of LA panics amd look!! Its like the first day of spring right now.
Tornado alley is quaking a little today, never hurts to pack a bag, and pet supplies, electronics, jewelry, meds, more meds, meds for those meds…cuz really, if your place gets hit, the drugstore drive thru is gonna make you need more meds just to deal with them.
Oh my god this is so true. I’m not in LA but nearby, and it rained all night but now it’s gorgeous out….
But yes, like the previous poster, be prepared. Always have an emergency bag on hand! Here it’s usually an earthquake bag, but whatever. Canned/dried food, can opener, bottled water, flashlight, batteries (or hand-powered flashlight), first aid kit, matches/lighter, space blankets maybe, maybe even a hand-powered radio would be good. And check it regularly to make sure your ish hasn’t expired! The more you know.
If any of you guys out in LA are looking for a summer vacation where you are guaranteed rain so you can hang out indoors and play videogames….come to Yorkshire. We sometimes even have hail or snow in July.
The #1 thing I miss since moving to LA: rainy Sundays spent lazing around indoors.
