I figured not everyone would know what it stands for, but now don’t you just wanna spray paint it on the police station? Or a small A.C.A.B. tattoo on one of your fingers? Or a A.C.A.B. patch on your jean jacket?!

I know what it means but it always takes me 5 minutes to sort it out because my brain interprets it as “assigned cop at birth”. Always. Like no brain, that’s not it.
A.C.A.B. is an anti-police acronym meaning “All Coppers Are Bastards”.
When I witness police harassment I make an ACAB patch using a cross stitch alphabet where each letter is made out of cats.
I made a lot last year and expect to do the same again this year.
It also stands for All Cats Are Beautiful.

I get horribly overwhelmed around large crowds and all that, but incidentally I am doing almost exactly this and making a website index of important resources around my city/campus (or, trying. research I can do, fighting with wordpress themes is not so easy)
This is wonderful! I attended a counter-protest at Planned Parenthood today (over 250 people showed up, and in a very conservative town/state! only about 10 for the true “protest”) and there was a bake sale component. So many delicious goodies with the money going toward a great cause! I like protests, personally, because it’s easy to forget how many like-minded people there are in my city & protests bring lots of them together all to one place. I totally get that some people aren’t down with them, though, and think it’s great to remind people that there are COUNTLESS ways to become involved with the resistance!
