COSIMA FOREVER
Gf and I went as Angel and Spike (together at last!) so we wouldn’t have to spend the night explaining more obscure costumes. But some of the more obscure ideas would have been fun…
I can relate, about the hangover, because it took me all day yesterday to recover from the Halloween party I attended Friday night. Funnily enough, I was going to dress up as Waldo (again) but laziness got the better of me.
I do remember mentioning to my friend that I was glad that I had not seen ONE “sexy nurse” costume the entire night. It was great.
“Your suspenders aren’t even that cool. They’re only a little cool.”
… Dying at the perfect combination of crestfallen, offended resentment and grudging suspender-envy. This comic is amazing.
This is too perf.
I went as Kaylee from Firefly and everyone thought I was a generic pilot, I was obvs the best mechanic in the verse.
I went as Marceline the Vampire Queen and everyone confused my axe-guitar for just an axe and thought I was a lady lumberjack. I wasn’t even wearing suspenders, so I’m not sure how they came to that conclusion.
(also your link to your tumblr in your profiley thingy is wrong)
Hrm, okay, mine did the same thing.
Oh dang! Thanks for letting me know.
Until then, here is a certified, Cameron-approved tumblr link:

No one ever knows what I am for Halloween, and yeah it would be SUPER GRATIFYING to get acknowledgement and appreciation… but you know, it’s for me really. I get dressed up for me, and it’s still fun, so it’s okay. :)
I dressed as punk rock robin which I thought was fairly evident, but some dude was like “so…are you…robin with tattoos?” I wanted to call him an idiot but instead just helpfully pointed out the studded belt and bracelets and the huge misfits logo I drew on my cape (plus the black flag logo and the anarchy symbol and the combat boots…).
