Some people say that Halloween is gay Christmas, and I would agree! Every year, I say that I’m going to plan my Halloween costume early, but I’m always rushing to put something together. This year, my partner and I finally planned our costumes in advance. I’m going to be a witch with a long poofy dress, long black nails, a flowy cape, and a silver haired wig. She’s going to be my familiar and is dressing up as a crow, with a feather piece that goes around her neck and chest. Our pets are both going to be spooky spiders! My actual go to last minute costume (for like the last 25 years) is a witch. I have a kick-ass witches hat that I made in my mid-20s and a closet full of black clothes.
I also got called out by ghost! normally i’m a sexy vampire but i left my bondage belt at my parents, so :(
I got Shane but tbh I’m way too old to pull off the vest with no shirt look. (Also I’ll be taking my kids trick or treating and it’s kinda cold here.)
I recently broke my wrist & ring finger and have a ridiculous custom splint that is made out of black plastic so I feel like I need a costume that incorporates that but idk what. Maybe I’ll make it into a robot arm somehow and be a cyborg.

the quintessential haribo gummy! the origin of all gummy bears!! (disclaimer: they may not be the origin of all gummy bears. i, like you, am too lazy to google this.)
I googled this after and I am left with the conclusion that either they don’t sell that specific brand of gummy bear in canada or gummy bears are not very popular here.
The only company that i can name off the top of my head that sells gummy anything is dare’s gummy worms.
But honestly i was hoping for some wacky american product. The more brand specific american candy is online the more likely it’s going to be something weird. Like are skittles actually skittles? Are starburst the same starburst i know? Do i want to google every candy on this list? No

i’m actually very surprised to hear they exist in the US (and not in canada!). i’m from europe and they have, in my mind, always been a strictly european candy (they’re from germany). glad we could learn something and i can only agree with your assessment of american candy as wacky and weird. they truly produce some unhinged stuff over there. but goldbears are not in this category, lol.
